The advice process starts by doing a personal financial review which can take place at a convenient time and place. Usually a review will start with a very broad discussion of your history, objectives, aspirations and concerns, before moving on to the detail.
The consultation focuses on the following:
- Your total assets and liabilities (net worth)
- Annual income and expenditure (profit and loss)
- Current and historical information (pensions, investments, insurance and mortgages)
- Future Plans (retirement ages, school fees, buying a new home, etc.)
- Any concerns you may have
